CC Loots
Image, was born in Illinois, USA on January 9th 1993, Loot
was bred by Caroll & Elizabeth Newingham of C & C Paints, home of “Gran
Loot”. CC Loots Image was so named as he was the image of his famous
sire.
Gran Loot
earned his APHA Champion status in 1985, one of the youngest stallions
ever to earn an APHA Champion Award. Gran Loot earned 191 lifetime
performance points, 51 lifetime halter points, APHA Superior Halter &
Western Pleasure Award & a ROM at Reining.
Loots
Image AmQHA dam is the “Robert Redford” granddaughter “My Belle KC”.
CC Loots
Image earned his APHA Champion Award in May of 1996, at the ripe old age
of 3, he had earned 66 halter points & 135 performance points.

Purchased
& imported to Australia in November 1996 by the Loots Image Syndicate
the only thing that changed was dropping the CC prefix from his name.
Loot
continued on his winning way in Australia as he did in the States. It
wasn’t long before he earned his PHAA Champion Award making him the
first Paint Horse in the world to hold both these prestigious awards.
Now
retired from the show ring Loot is once again living up to his sires’
name as ‘the sire’ with his progenies wins & achievements both in
Australia, New Zealand & the USA.
In the US
Loot has sired Halter, Western Pleasure, Lungeline & Youth Champions.
Loot continued on his winning way in Australia as he did in the States.
It wasn’t long before he earned his PHAA Champion making him the first
Paint Horse in the world to hold both these prestigious awards. He was
shown by well known trainers, Wayne Judge, Raelene Higgins & Glen Wyse.
Testimony to his wonderful temprement he was also shown in Amatuer
classes by Wayne & Narrelle Berge.
His
Australian progeny have won The Australian Halter Showcase Weanling
Futurity, Weanling, Yearling & Open Halter Futurities, Western Pleasure
& Reining Futurities, as well as PHAA National & State Show Champions at
Halter, Led Trail, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Reining,
Trail, Working Cowhorse, Hunter in Hand, Western Horsemanship & High
Point Awards. His kids are owned, enjoyed & shown by Amateurs, Youth &
the Pro’s all over the country.
To date
eleven of his offspring have earned their PHAA Champion
